Interview with Wenonah Hauter, Executive Director of Food Water Watch

Wenonah Hauter is the Executive Director of Food & Water Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based group committed to ensuring a safe, accessible, and sustainable food and water supply. She has worked extensively on legislative and grassroots strategies to improve food, water, energy and environmental issues at the national, state and local level.
An accomplished organizer dedicated to policy change, Hauter was a Senior Organizer for the Union of Concerned Scientists, the Environmental Policy Director for Citizen Action, and the Director of Public Citizen, Energy and Environment Program. She is also the author of Frackopoly: The Battle for the Future of Energy and the Environmentand Foodopoly: The Battle Over the Future of Food and Farming in America. She has a M.S. in Applied Anthropology from the University of Maryland.
