BEN BRUCE Is &#;Stepping Away&#; From ASKING ALEXANDRIA To Focus On His Family
ASKING ALEXANDRIA's Ben Bruce has announced that he is "stepping away" from the band.
Bruce formed ASKING ALEXANDRIA in and has played on all of the British band's eight studio albums, including ASKING ALEXANDRIA's latest full-length release, 's "Where Do We Go From Here?" A new ASKING ALEXANDRIA EP, "Dark Void", arrived earlier this month.
In a message posted on Instagram earlier today (Friday, January 19),the guitarist thanked the ASKING ALEXANDRIA fans for their "years of love and support" before explaining that "it's time to dedicate my life to my family. On top of family medical situations, leaving my children means missing out on too many important moments in their lives."

Ben Bruce, Asking Alexandria's founding guitarist and primary songwriter, has announced he is leaving the band in a statement that was shared in the band's Instagram stories.
In the statement, the year-old guitarist expresses his gratitude for his career in music and the "years of love and support."
Bruce then turns his attention toward his reasons for leaving, citing his desire to spend more time with his family, having sacrificed being a part of "too many important moments in their lives" due to his commitments to being in a band.
"The time I have spent with all of you has been the time of my life," the guitarist tells fans, "But now it's time to dedicate my life to my family,"

He explained that missing important moments in his children&#;s lives and dealing with family medical situations led to his decision to step away from the band.
